Rajasthan Minister Avinash Gehlot Applauds 2024 Budget for Comprehensive Welfare Measures

Rajasthan Minister Avinash Gehlot expressed admiration for the 2024 Union Budget, highlighting its extensive provisions aimed at enhancing the welfare of all sections of society. Speaking in Jaipur, Gehlot emphasized the budget’s impact on reducing the prices of essential commodities and its significant allocations towards empowering women and girls.

“This budget focuses comprehensively on the welfare of every section of society,” Gehlot affirmed. He underscored the measures taken to reduce the prices of everyday essentials, which he believes will alleviate financial burdens on the public.

Gehlot also lauded the allocation of Rs 3 lakh crores for schemes benefiting women and girls, describing it as a pivotal step towards empowering them and promoting gender equality. “I extend gratitude on behalf of Rajasthan to PM Narendra Modi for presenting this historic budget,” he remarked, acknowledging the Prime Minister’s leadership in shaping policies that cater to the needs of the people.

The minister expressed confidence that the budget’s initiatives would contribute significantly to realizing the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India). He emphasized the transformative potential of the budget in fostering economic growth, social inclusivity, and overall prosperity across Rajasthan and the nation.

As Rajasthan prepares to implement various schemes outlined in the budget, Gehlot’s remarks underscored the state’s optimism and readiness to leverage the budgetary allocations for the benefit of its residents.
