Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari Announces Toll-Free Helpline for Road Quality Complaints

Date:

Jaipur: Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari on Monday announced that the state government will soon introduce a toll-free helpline number to allow citizens to directly register complaints regarding the quality of road construction work.

Addressing officials during a review meeting, Kumari said that if any citizen feels that road construction work is lacking in quality or does not meet set parameters, they can report it via the helpline. “Once a complaint is lodged, the PWD quality control team will be dispatched immediately to inspect the site and take necessary action,” she said.

Emphasizing accountability, Kumari added that ensuring quality in public infrastructure is not just the responsibility of the administration but also of citizens. “It is equally important for people to actively participate and raise concerns. Together, we can ensure long-lasting, good-quality roads across the state,” she noted.

The Deputy CM also reiterated the government’s focus on transparency and citizen involvement in infrastructure projects. The initiative is expected to improve real-time monitoring of road projects and address grievances quickly, thereby strengthening public trust in governance.
