Jaipur: Rajasthan Dy CM Prem Chand Bairwa Slams Rahul Gandhi Over Remarks in Germany

Date:

Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa on Monday strongly criticised Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over statements he reportedly made in Germany, accusing him of repeatedly speaking against India on foreign soil.

Bairwa said such remarks have become a “habit” of Rahul Gandhi and alleged that he has spoken against the country on several occasions in the past. Emphasising national responsibility, the deputy chief minister said it is the duty of every citizen and leader to prioritise the nation’s dignity and not tolerate any insult to India, irrespective of where it occurs.

He further remarked that Rahul Gandhi often travels abroad and makes statements that portray India negatively, calling the practice inappropriate. “This is not good,” Bairwa said, adding that political differences should not translate into comments that harm the country’s image internationally.

The statement comes amid ongoing political debate over comments made by Indian leaders during overseas visits and their impact on India’s global standing.
