The holy festival of Ram Navami is being celebrated with immense devotion and enthusiasm in Ayodhya. The Ram Mandir Ayodhya witnessed special decorations of Lord Ram Lalla, while the entire city was immersed in a spiritual atmosphere.

Temples Open Early, Massive Crowd Gathers for Darshan

Since early morning, a large number of devotees have gathered at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, along with prominent temples like Kanak Bhawan and Hanuman Garhi.

Temple gates were opened at dawn, allowing devotees from across the country to participate in Lord Ram’s birth celebrations. Long queues were seen as devotees waited patiently for darshan.

Special Rituals Begin with Mangala Aarti and Abhishek

The special pooja rituals began with Mangala Aarti in the early hours. During Brahma Muhurta, Lord Ram Lalla was ceremonially bathed with Panchgavya, Sarayu water, and fragrant substances.

This was followed by elaborate adornment and Kapoor Aarti, creating a deeply spiritual and divine ambiance inside the temple.

Surya Tilak at Noon to Be Main Highlight

The highlight of the celebrations is the Surya Tilak ceremony at 12 noon, where sunlight will be directed onto the forehead of Lord Ram Lalla using a special arrangement of mirrors and lenses.

This divine moment will last for about four minutes, during which 56 types of bhog (offerings) and prasad will be presented to the deity.

Tight Security Arrangements Amid Festive Atmosphere

With lakhs of devotees expected, authorities have put in place strict security arrangements across Ayodhya.

The temple campus will also host traditional devotional songs and celebrations, further enhancing the festive spirit.

First Grand Ram Navami After Temple Construction

This year’s Ram Navami holds special significance as it is among the first major celebrations after the construction of the Ram Temple.

Devotees from across India are visiting not only for darshan but also to take a holy dip in the Sarayu River.

Temple Built in Nagara Style with Sacred Shrines

The Ram Temple is constructed in the traditional Nagara architectural style of North India.

The temple complex features shrines dedicated to Sun God, Goddess Bhagwati, Lord Ganesha, and Lord Shiva at its four corners. Additionally, a grand statue of Jatayu has been placed at Kuber Tila in the southwest part of the complex.
