PM Modi Commemorates ‘Hool Diwas’ and Honors the Legacy of Veer Sidhu-Kanhu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the 111th episode of ‘Mann ki Baat’, paid tribute to the historical significance of ‘Hool Diwas’ and celebrated the courageous spirit of Veer Sidhu-Kanhu, revered leaders in India’s tribal history. Observed annually on June 30th, ‘Hool Diwas’ marks the uprising led by Veer Sidhu-Kanhu against British colonial rule in 1855, a pivotal moment preceding India’s first war of independence.
