PM Modi Commences Official Visits to Russia and Austria, Strengthening Diplomatic Ties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a strategic diplomatic mission to Russia and Austria, aiming to bolster India’s diplomatic ties and explore new avenues for collaboration. The visit commences with PM Modi attending the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit in Moscow, where he is set to meet with President Vladimir Putin. Discussions are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including defense, energy, and space exploration, reflecting the enduring friendship between India and Russia.

Following his engagements in Moscow, PM Modi will proceed to Austria for meetings with President Alexander Van der Bellen and Chancellor Karl Nehammer. These discussions are aimed at enhancing economic partnerships, exploring opportunities for investment, and promoting technological cooperation between India and Austria.

PM Modi’s itinerary in Austria also includes an interaction with the Indian community, acknowledging their contributions to Austria’s society and economy, and reinforcing their role as cultural ambassadors.
