Prateek Beniwal, Nephew of RLP Chief Hanuman Beniwal, Commissioned as Lieutenant in Indian Army

Date:

Nagaur: In an inspiring departure from a strong political legacy, Prateek Beniwal, nephew of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) chief and MP Hanuman Beniwal, has been commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army after successfully completing his Passing Out Parade (POP).

Prateek is the son of former Khinvsar MLA Narayan Beniwal and RAS officer Sumeish Beniwal. His achievement has drawn attention in Rajasthan, where the Beniwal family is widely known for its political influence.

Choosing the Army Over Politics

Coming from a prominent political family in Nagaur district, Prateek Beniwal chose a different path by joining the armed forces instead of pursuing politics or business.

His grandfather, late Ramdev Beniwal, served twice as an MLA from the Mundwa constituency in Nagaur, while his uncle Hanuman Beniwal is a four-time MLA and currently serving his second term as a Member of Parliament. His father Narayan Beniwal has also served as an MLA.

Despite this strong political background, Prateek chose to serve the nation by joining the Indian Army, setting an example for young people across the state.

Emotional Moments at Passing Out Parade

The commissioning ceremony witnessed emotional moments when Narayan Beniwal pinned the Lieutenant stars on his son’s shoulders during the Passing Out Parade.

Prateek’s mother Sumeish Beniwal, a Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officer, and his grandmother were also present at the ceremony. The presence of three generations of the family made the occasion even more special.

Hanuman Beniwal Congratulates Nephew

RLP chief Hanuman Beniwal expressed pride over his nephew’s achievement and shared photographs from the ceremony on social media.

He said Prateek’s commissioning is a matter of pride not only for the Beniwal family, but also for Nagaur and the entire state of Rajasthan.

Beniwal added that choosing the path of serving the nation through the armed forces is a great inspiration for the youth.

Inspiration for Young People

Prateek Beniwal’s journey is being seen as a powerful example for young people, especially at a time when political dynasties often dominate public discussions.

His decision to join the Indian Army demonstrates that individuals from influential families can also choose to build their own identity through dedication and service to the nation.

Observers say his achievement is likely to inspire many youths in Rajasthan who aspire to serve the country while carving their own path in life.
