Rajasthan CM’s Four Major Announcements: A Step Towards Developed India.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma made four significant announcements in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, aimed at benefiting the citizens of the state.

1. Increase in Farmer’s Honor Fund

CM Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the Rajasthan government had pledged to increase the Farmer’s Honor Fund in its manifesto. Acting on this, the amount under the PM Farmer’s Honor Fund in the state has been increased from INR 6,000 to INR 8,000. This decision will impose an additional financial burden of INR 1,300 crores on the state government. The amount will be gradually increased to INR 12,000.

2. Bonus of INR 125 per Quintal on Wheat Crop

CM Bhajanlal Sharma mentioned that the manifesto promised to increase the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for wheat. In line with this, the MSP for wheat has been increased from INR 2,275 to INR 2,400 by the state government. This decision will impose an additional financial burden of INR 250 crores on the government. The MSP will be gradually increased to INR 2,700.

3. Social Security Pension Increased to INR 1,150

CM Bhajanlal Sharma announced that to provide adequate social security to the needy individuals in the state, the monthly security pension has been increased from INR 1,000 to INR 1,150. This amount will be gradually increased to INR 1,500. This decision will impose an additional financial burden of INR 1,800 crores on the state government.

4. New Scheme for Displaced Families from Pakistan

CM Bhajanlal Sharma announced that the displaced families residing in the state would be provided with housing and other facilities under a special scheme.

These announcements are a part of the state government’s efforts to augment Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve for a developed India. The state government has initiated the ‘Developed India Resolution Journey’ to connect the deprived beneficiaries with the schemes and benefit them. So far, 11,922 gram panchayats/urban locations have been covered under the Developed India Resolution Journey. Rajasthan is at the forefront in this journey on various standards. In the PM Security Insurance and PM Life Light Insurance schemes, Rajasthan is at the top position nationwide.

These initiatives by the Rajasthan government are a significant step towards ensuring the welfare of its citizens and contributing to the vision of a developed India.
