In a recent turn of events, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has responded to the statement made by former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. The minister’s response has stirred up the political scene in Rajasthan.

Arjun Ram Meghwal, the Union Minister of State (independent charge) for Law and Justice, has been in the limelight due to the ongoing clash within the Rajasthan BJP. The minister has been accused of corruption by party veteran Kailash Meghwal. In response to these allegations, Arjun Ram Meghwal issued a statement saying, “I have led a very clean life of honesty and I do not point the finger at others. But his (Kailash Meghwal) comments seem sponsored.”

The Union Minister also challenged former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to evaluate the work done by the BJP government in Rajasthan. He stated, “I challenge Ashok Gehlot to evaluate the work done by our government in the last two months and compare it with the tenure of his government.”

In another statement, Arjun Ram Meghwal told News18 that if Ashok Gehlot is clean, he should not fear action by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He said, “Action against corruption should happen and the public also wants the same. If they (Gehlot) are clean, why should they be scared?”

This ongoing political turmoil in Rajasthan BJP is expected to intensify as the assembly elections draw near. The clash between the Meghwals is seen as part of the fight for supremacy as a Dalit leader. The outcome of this political feud will undoubtedly have significant implications for the political landscape of Rajasthan.
